Experienced persons and extremely gifted
readers feel that tea leaf readings might be good for the
psychic adept, but bad for novices or occasional dabblers. It
is entirely subjective, so use your best judgment above all
else while interpreting tea leaf meanings and you will be
fine.
Tea leaf
symbols are broken down into four main categories and there are
essentially three systems in use:
Readings of the
symbolic image-patterns seen in the leaves or grounds,
readings that combine symbolic tea leaf images with
zodiacal and planetary positions demarked within the cup
and saucer, and readings that combine symbolic tea leaf
images with cartomancy (playing card reading) images
located within the cup.
How to read the tea leafs you ask. The positions
in which the tea leaves fall in are indicative of events
as well. Most believe that the leaves that stick to the
upper portions of the cup near the rim signify good
fortune as the leaves towards the bottom tell of troubled
times or challenges ahead.
Leaves that stick closer to
the handle will tell of issues related to your life, but
the leaves further from the handle will tell more of
family members or friends you are associated
with.
The types of animals which appear in a tea leaf reading
often mirror our own hopes, fears, or dreams and can show
your inner feelings.
Symbols that resemble
everyday objects represent what you are doing with your
life and will show whether you have a positive or
negative effect on the world around
you.
Images that are symbolic of nature reflect the
atmospheres you surround your life with and can often
foretell good fortune or troubled times.
Typically things that are mostly out of your
control at that time since nobody can control
nature.
Images that look like people or parts of people reflect
where you are as an individual mentally and emotionally
and what roles you are playing at a particular time in
your life.
Remember, when you are concentrating on your question in
mind while sipping the tea, you can think about the past,
present, or future of your life or really focus on
someone else in your life to get
answers.
